blue kurinuki vase 3

this vase has been hand carved from a block of custom blended clays, sand, and grog. after being fired once, washes are applied to create depth and a number of glazes are layered. the vase is then fired again resulting in a sparkling matte surface, with hints of green gloss with crystals.

this collection of vases is intended to be for a posy you might collect while out for an afternoon stroll.
