brown base kurinuki vase 1

this vase has been hand carved from a block of custom blended clays, sand, and grog. after being fired once, washes and underglazes are applied to create depth and a number of glazes are then applied and the vase is fired once again resulting in a glossy surface with crystalline highlights.

this collection of vases is intended to be for a posy you might collect while out for an afternoon stroll.
